Damaged Packages
The following information concerns our policy and procedures for damage claims and refunds for packages damaged in shipment.Be sure to examine all shipments before accepting packages. Accept packages only if they look okay. If you sign for a package that looked okay on the outside, but has hidden damage within, please contact us. Then, reseal the package and have it available for UPS to pick up. If you cannot make the package available, you will have to drop it off at a UPS location. If the package has obvious damage, refuse the package and contact us. We will replace the package at no charge to you if there is actual damage from shipping. If you refuse the item for another reason, such as deciding you do not want it, you will be charged for shipping both ways. If the package was delivered while you were not home and it has obvious or hidden damage, you must contact UPS at 1-800-PICK-UPS with your shipment tracking number from the shipping label. Inform UPS that the shipment was damaged, then contact us. We cannot make any adjustments and you cannot receive any damage claim on the shipment unless you mark it damaged at the time of delivery. Please note that while we will help you with damage claims, damage caused in transit is not our fault unless it is determined that the item was boxed improperly |
